Our Story

Emotist began with a simple realisation: in India, finding good mental health care is still difficult. For many people, starting therapy means long searches, unclear information, and a lot of uncertainty—often at a time when they are already struggling.

Mental health professionals face challenges too. Much of their time goes into scheduling, follow-ups, and administrative work, which can take away from clinical care and continuity.

We created Emotist to reduce this friction on both sides.

The platform is built around scientific, evidence-based mental health care. It is designed to support recognised therapeutic approaches, ethical practice, and clear professional standards. For people seeking therapy, Emotist aims to make the process more transparent and easier to navigate. For mental health professionals, it offers tools that support their work without interfering with clinical judgment.

Emotist is not designed for quick fixes or surface-level solutions. It is built to support therapy that continues over time, with a strong focus on privacy, consistency, and care that is grounded in research and clinical practice.

As the platform grows, we stay informed by following current research and clinical standards in India, including learning from institutions such as NIMHANS.

At its core, Emotist exists to support mental health care that is thoughtful, evidence-based, and easier to navigate—for everyone involved.

We’re still learning, growing, and aiming to build a better ecosystem — and we’d love for you to be a part of it.
